Vermont DUI Accomplishments

Vermont, DUI Defense Lawyer Jason J. Sawyer has briefed, argued and won State v. Goldberg, 872 A.2d 378, 2005 VT 41 (2005) with fellow Attorney Paul Volk, Esq. The Vermont Supreme Court dismissed t a search warrant and suppressed all further evidence against the defendants because the warrant was not supported by probable cause in Goldberg. This decision, in written form, makes certain that police officers corroborate information that support the application for a warrant and helps make sure that a truly neutral magistrate is the only thing that stands between police officers and the citizens of Vermont. This decision increases the privacy rights of all Vermonters.
