There are a variety of issues that follow a drunk driving, DUI, or DWI arrest in North Carolina. You may have to use a bail bondsman to assist a friend or loved one get out of jail. Renting a car may be difficult as well (although we know of several companies that will do so), as is getting car insurance. It may also be manditory to attend special alcohol programs, or AA meetings in your local area.
