Bob Daniel
With 30 years of experience as
a criminal defense lawyer, seven years ago Bob
Daniel limited his practice to DUI defense and Driver's Licensing
and is the only lawyer in the middle Georgia area who has done
so. Due to limiting the areas he practices, Mr. Daniel was able
to cut down on the cases he handles, allowing him to spend additional
time on each individual client's case.
Aside from Mr. Daniel's exceptional
trial skills and creative thinking, it is Mr. Daniel's commitment
to staying up to date on the constantly changing DUI laws and
his understanding of the science behind DUI Defense that distinguishes
his firm from others.
The following are only a few examples of
his unique training and memberships:
Defense Of Drunk Drivers (DODD): Bob is
a member of this group of DUI specialists who have demonstrated
a willingness and ability to contest DUI cases. Membership is by
invitation only and limited to 50 lawyers statewide. Bob is the
only member in this part of the state.
National Criminal Defense College: Bob
Daniel was not only a student of this college that attracts students
from across the nation, but he has also served as a faculty member.
While attending and teaching, this course covered every aspect
of the criminal trial, from jury selection to closing argument.
National College for DUI Defense: Located
on the renowned Harvard campus, this college's focus was similar
to the National Criminal Defense College; however, classes specifically
related to DUI issues only.
Standardized Field Sobriety Testing: Taught
by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration's certified
instructors, students learned by using certified materials identical
to police officers' course work. As a result of this training,
Bob can identify improperly administered or scored tests and can
locate certified instructors to serve as expert witnesses.
40 Hour Intoxylizer 5000 Course at Emory:
While police officers only receive 24 hours of training
them on which buttons to press to get a test result, this course
included the science behind the Intoxylizer machine, why it does
what it does, and how the machine can be subject to false positives.
