Among the highest DUI
penalties are reserved for school bus drivers who are DUI while driving
a school bus. This appears to be the case whether or not there are
any children on the bus. These drivers may be punished by imprisonment
for a period of not less than one year nor more than five years or
by a fine of not less than $1,000.00 nor more than $5,000.00, or both.
